We’ve all heard the corny phrase “to assume is to make an ‘ass’ out of ‘u’ and ‘me’” and yet still many businesses commonly make assumptions of who their customers are and what they want. Whilst instinct and “gut feel” have their place, they fall a long way short in providing knowledge of your customers when compared to conducting primary research.
At Really Simple Systems the nature of our business means we have good customer intelligence but still we feel further insight is necessary. Understanding our customers’ current and future needs, along with their likes and dislikes of our products and services, puts us a strong position to develop and deliver increased customer value.
Carrying out an annual customer survey gives us the opportunity to ask our customers what they think, measure satisfaction levels year on year, and identify any gaps in our services.
