Zapier CRM System Integration is now on Beta
We’re excited to announce that a Zapier integration to our CRM is now available for customers to trial, and we are looking for people who would like to signup and provide feedback.
What is Zapier?
Zapier.com is an integration platform that enables users to pass data back and forth between their cloud applications. With over 1,000 cloud applications on their platform, Zapier is a fantastic tool for connecting all the different applications you use to drive your business by integrating them with our CRM software.
By integrating your applications and automating data flow, you’ll save time, get instantly updated information, reduce the opportunity for data to be missed or corrupted, and ultimately serve your customers in a more timely and professional manner.
How Zapier Works
Zapier integrations work using Triggers and Actions. An example of a Trigger might be a new Contact being created in your CRM, or a new email arriving in Gmail. An Action could be the creation of a Task in your CRM, or adding data to a spreadsheet or sending an SMS message. Put together a Trigger and one or more Actions and you have a “Zap”.
For example, you could easily pass new Contacts to MailChimp from your CRM using the Really Simple Systems New Contact trigger.
Another more sophisticated example would be a Zap that adds a Task in your CRM when an email arrives. This could be achieved by using the Gmail New Email trigger, which would drive an Action to find the relevant Contact in your CRM, then another action to find the Account, and finally Create a Task for that Account.
With over 1,000 cloud applications on the Zapier platform, each with multiple Triggers and Actions, there are almost unlimited ways to combine them into Zaps, saving you time by automating your data flow.
