With my head in a computer from a young age, I graduated from Plymouth University back in 2011 with a BSc Hons in Computer Systems and Networking. Unsurprisingly, I decided to pursue a career in computing and, with the aim of developing my knowledge of programming, joined a web agency where I quickly moved up the ranks to the position of senior developer.
After a couple of years, I decided to further my career and give myself a new challenge, and in July 2016 joined Really Simple Systems, initially working on the new CRM Version 5 development. It’s great to get stuck into a project like this – I think the new development will be a big turning point for the company. It’s great fun trying out new technology though I have been known to break it!
As you guessed, I’m a typical computer nerd – but with a twist! Yes, I love to game and develop software, but I’m also heavily involved in archery, having recently achieved my Level 2 coaching qualification. I’m a coach at my local archery club and get a real buzz out of teaching and seeing others progress and improve.
At home I love to watch films and just relax with my family and, when I get the chance, ride out in the Hampshire countryside on my Honda Fireblade (motorbike!).
